marked tardy.

“Zone of Civility” In order for our time in
class to be productive, we must all feel as though we are in a safe environment.
This environment must be safe physically, mentally and emotionally. I insist
that each individual in my class act with Dignity, Integrity and Respect.
I have “No Tolerance” for put-downs; (Practice Put-Ups!)
You must respect the ideas and opinions of others in the classroom. You
do not have to agree with others’ opinions, but you must allow others to
voice their opinions. Please share your opinions in non-threatening ways.
Cap has zero tolerance for language that insults any person on the basis
of race, ethnicity, national origin, creed, sex, sexual orientation, or
disability.
Your first assignment is to meet all the requirements put forth
in this course outline. Please take this home and have your parent(s)/guardian
read and sign. Remember to get your binder set up, materials purchased,
and start working on those 15 Unforgettables. If at any time you
have questions or concerns regarding the course, speak to me as soon as
possible before or after class and set up an appointment to meet. Remember
that I’m here to help.
