Grades: All projects, homework, quizzes and tests are graded on a cumulative point system. Grades are not based on a curve but on a standard 100% scale, 90% being an A-, 80% being a B- and so on. Students keep track of their own grades and can figure out their course grade any day of the semester. Participation points are also included in a students’ final grade. Participation points are earned by being actively involved in all class activities as well as coming to class prepared.

Homework: All homework is to be complete at the start of the period and must be your own work. Late work will not be accepted. If you are at school, you are expected to turn in assigned work at the beginning of the class, even if you are excused from the period. Late work from unexcused absences will not be accepted.  Students are responsible for their own make-up work, and should contact classmates to stay on top of assignments while absent. If you are absent one day, you have one day to make-up the work and so on.
